The kids enjoyed exploring our woods and grounds. Interesting wildlife abounds because we border Hiawatha National Forest. Elizabeth captured a fish swimming up our stream. A bald eagle visited our beach every morning to feast on the fish.
Bethany loved visiting the retired sled dogs at Tundra Outfitters in Mackinaw City. They were so gentle. Bethany, Judith, Emily and Jessica rode bikes around Mackinac Island. They stopped several times for pictures and to climb the unusual rock formations. Climbing the rock formations at Mackinac Island was even better than eating the fudge!
